Our History

IFS Financial Services Limited was incorporated on 1st September, 2006 and licensed by Bank of Ghana on 5th June, 2007 to operate as a Finance House under the Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Act, 2008 (Act 774). IFS operates an Asset Management subsidiary company, IFS Capital Management Limited (IFS Capital, which is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana). IFS has a Staff strength of about 60+ and has its head office located on the 4th floor of Opeibea House, 37 Liberation Road, Accra (near the Airport City) with four branches.

We have one on the Ground Floor of the Opeibea House, Kumasi on the Ground Floor of the Acheamponmaa Towers at West Nhyieso in the Ashanti Region, Sakaman Ground Floor of the Adrho House Sakaman Junction on the Mallam – Kaneshie Road and our Tema branch located on the Ground Floor, House of Fame at the Tema Meridian Area. IFS, is an innovative Financial Services Company with an experienced Management Team, highly energized workforce, vibrant product suite and Superior customer service culture. IFS takes pride in its corporate credo of “Growing people, Growing Businesses” through its flexibly tailored financial solutions and endearing relationships with clients and stakeholders. Over the last 10 years, IFS has lived its mission of growing people, growing businesses. It has developed a wide range of innovative products and services that have raised the bar in the financial services sector. The company has as a result, built a solid financial base growing in excess of 100% year on year over the period.

Our current range of products and services include savings and investment products with their interest rates linked to prevailing money market rates. Our loan products are for both personal and business purposes with tenor ranging from short to medium term. They are offered at competitive interest rates and are available subject to prevailing terms and conditions. We are socially responsible in the communities in which we live and work. Our Social Interventions over the period of 10 years include donations towards:
