CEO Inspires and Challenges Staff to Improve on Performance

January 20, 2017 – The Chief Executive Officer of IFS Financial Services, Mr. Kojo Ohene – Kyei, delivered an inspiring presentation to staff of the IFS at a staff durbar held on the premises of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana.  The theme for the occasion was “Improving Efficiency and Creating Sustainable Development”.  The purpose of the forum was to provide a platform for management to share their vision and expectations for the year 2017 with staff and to elicit their support towards achieving the objectives for the year.


He urged the staff to focus on contributing to the progress of the company.  Alluding to stories currently making the headlines in the newspapers on unethical practices of some players in the industry, he stressed that trust, is a bedrock of success for the company, and virtue that staff should aspire to. He challenged them to build a partnership based on trust and to seek to create good value for customers, themselves and the business as a whole.

In a side-show some members of staff modeled the various prescribed outfits that IFS staff wear. The audience broke into loud applause as they cat-walked in pairs across the auditorium, showcasing the outfits, which included traditional attire.


The durbar ended with a dinner.
